Genealogical & Historical Research

The Madison County Historical Society, Inc. has very limited resources for providing assistance to individuals who are seeking Madison County genealogical and/or historical information. Local repositories with historical or genealogical resources are at the bottom of this page.

For anyone interested in using the services of a Madison County genealogy or historical researcher, the Society recommends contacting one of the following persons for assistance. Several have very limited areas and/or subjects for which they provide research. The researcher may or may not charge a fee for services; please ask the researcher about possible charges when you communicate with him or her. Due to increased interest in genealogy, some of these individuals may not be accepting new clients or be able to provide desired information in the time period specified by the requester.
